Unakite Palmstone

Unakite is a term used in the world of art and craftsmanship, particularly in the context of handmade or artisanal creations. It comes from the German word "unikat," which means "unique" or "one of a kind."Unakite refers to items or works of art that are individually crafted and entirely unique, meaning there are no identical copies or mass-produced versions of the same item. Unakite pieces are often highly valued for their originality, creativity, and the personal touch of the artisan, making them distinctive and special to their owners. This term is commonly associated with custom-made jewellery, ceramics, textiles, and other handcrafted items where the emphasis is on individuality and uniqueness rather than mass production.

Unakite was first discovered in the United States, in the Unakas mountains of western North Carolina/eastern Tennessee (hence its name). However, it can also be found on the beaches of Lake Superior, where it was originally dragged by glaciers, as well as washed down from the mountains into rivers in Virginia.

Metaphysically, unakite is said to be a useful for scrying. It is believed to open thirtd eye chakra and ofter being called crystal of vision. It is also believed to be a stone of balance and grounding, bringing emotions and spirituality together.
