Aragonite
Aragonite is a mineral and crystal form of calcium carbonate, the same chemical composition as calcite, but with a different crystal structure.
Key characteristics of aragonite include its typically white or colorless appearance, although it can also occur in various shades of brown, gray, yellow, blue, and green. It often forms as needle-like crystals, columnar structures, or aggregates of radiating fibrous crystals. Aragonite is one of the primary minerals that make up the shells of certain marine organisms like corals, mollusks, and some types of algae.
Metaphysically, aragonite increases energy, boosts self-confidence and teaches trust. It is believed to relieve stress, emotional fatigue and anger, bringing patience when it is needed most! Aragonite also promotes reliability and discipline. At work, aragonite helps clear the mind, stimulates motivation and provides mental energy required to meet professional challenges. All these equalities made aragonite a popular choice among Spanish monks for use in their rosaries.
